The Poem That Had No Title

Cold shivers in my spineless mind
Blood shot eyes and a crowded thought
What is lost? Where to find
What is more, a need or want?

June comes sooner than expected
I forgot your birth, the month and day
The only thing I’ve ever regretted
Was having nothing to say

Cannibals of the state of mind
Empire songs for blind heroes
Sirens, religion and violence
Counting from ten to zeroes

Bodies dropping, dust rises
Inflation and downsizes
The sun trades places with darkness
The queen curtseyed the princess
